About Jody Watson
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a professional Art Therapist. I graduated with a Master of Counselling from the University of Calgary in 2004 and as an Art Therapist from the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute that same year. I am a professional member of the the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors and the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society.
My experience includes mental health and addictions, couples counselling, and working with trauma and anxiety. I have worked with individuals, couples, families, groups, adults, adolescents and children and also have experience facilitating educational groups and teaching in a college setting. I am currently working on creating a diverse online community for women in all stages of life with a focus on health and wellness, marriage, work/life balance, parenting and everything else in between. Our online community goes live January 1, 2019 and will offer articles, online courses and loads of resources. You can join us there at https://www.fromsisterstosisters.com
I am still amazed by the therapeutic process and by how much the people I have worked with have enriched my life. I consider it an honor to work with people and be a witness as they find hope, comfort and joy in their lives.
